Falls Leading Cause Of Deaths In Aging Patients

Recently a new research study has been released by the Iowa public health, where the health experts are suggesting that the leading cause of death of residents of old age, or over the age of 65 are a range of factors which have not been thought about in the past.
During last Thursday marking the Fall Prevention Awareness Day in the United States, the study suggests that falls lead to injury in hospitals and emergency departments more so than other other factor or cause. Although falls are a very preventable cause, it is the most common in the Iowa area for the past several years. Falls can cause dizziness, back pain and other injuries which can effect the overall lifestyle of the individual.
