‘How We Age’: A New Book About Healthy Aging

Dr. Marc E. Agronin in his new book "How We Age" gives a look to aging from the brain's perspective. He says that it is difficult to find the silver lining in the clouds of seniors but aging has lot of benefits to offer. According to Agronin, aging is less an outcome of nature but more of a human achievement wrestled from nature. A pack of gray and white hairs along with some long curvy wrinkles may give nightmares to middle-aged men but aging has harshest effect on the brain. Agronin talks about his patients Marilyn and Mac who have accepted aging very eagerly and fought for it and in the end they had gifts called better judgment, contemplation and delight. Agronin's colleagues taught him that aging really has no cure at all and his patients taught him that it doesn't need one.
